Gabriel 'Terry G' Amanyi has responded to his alleged involvement in a hit and run case, stating that he has not done any wrong as the news is being falsely reported.
In a statement released by the TGP Entertainment boss, Terry G explains that he was indeed present at the Club Royale hangout spot with friends having fun but says he peacefully drove his car out of the club premises when he decided to leave.
'When it was time for me to leave I was escorted by two bouncers of the club to my car. Yes some guys tried to mob me while I was leaving which is normal. I got I to my car peacefully and drove out after couple of snaps (photographs) with my fans', Terry explains.
Terry says he was disappointed to read on blogs that he had hit someone, a certain Moshood Azeez and that he has not been contacted by the Nigerian Police Force nor invited to their station for questioning.
'I never received any call from the Police inviting me for a hit and run case and I have no reason to run been Godly or notorious, I am a known face so what sense does it make hitting someone and running?', he explains.
'I might act crazy but not heartless, only for me to read these stories on blog sites. I have been in the country facing my job… freedom of information is not freedom of misinformation. I did not hit anyone and I am not and was not wanted by Nigerian police', he ended his statement.
Terry G is currently in Ebonyi State for a musical performance taking place today, November 30, 2012.
Calls placed to the Nigerian Police Public Relations office were not responded to neither have a text sent, been replied as at the time of this report.
