Meet Dbanj's Girlfriend, Adama Indimi,IBB's Niece

Dbanj has been linked to many girlfriends in the past, most noticeably Genevieve Nnaji and Nadia Buari, but if the latest gist on the Koko master is anything to go by then his real girlfriend could be ex-beauty queen, Adama Indimi, daughter of Maiduguri based Multi-Millionaire, Alhaji Mohammed Indimi, who is also General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida's in-law

The main reason for these speculations is related to the tweets between both parties. On August 13, 2012, Dbanj tweeted - On my way to club icon w/@NaetoC and the crew! 2nyt we drinking 2 celebrate my baby @Presido_Adama happy birthday love

But this seems not to ring an alarm to many of his fans because a star like him can call any of his fans My Love.

They didn't end there conversation there, after Dbanj's recent London Concert on Bank Holiday Monday, August 27, 2012, Adama again tweeted:

''You make me do happy'' This was followed by pictures of herself and Dbanj's dancers backstage, followed by a picture of the supposed love-birds looking very sweet together. Definitely, it means Adama flew to London to watch her super boy on stage.

On August 29, 2012 she posted" Happy love, happy laugh, happy soul! And afterwards ''You make me do happy!" In some hours later, she tweeted - "When mumsi said ''I like your new Hannah Montana remix'' and followed it with a picture on instagram.

The question now is - has DBanj finally found his Mrs Dbanj?

Reasons Why Adele songs Make PeoPle Cry

If you've ever gotten emotional while listening to Adele, you're not the only one.

Turns out there are scientific reasons why tunes such the Grammy award-winner's "Someone Like You" make listeners reach for the tissues.

For starters, the ballad contains an "appoggiatura," which is "a type of ornamental note that clashes with the melody just enough to create a dissonant sound," the Wall Street Journal describes.

In Adele's song, the dip occurs on the word "you" during the opening to the chorus, where the singer croons the following lyrics: "Nevermind, I'll find someone like you."

Appoggiaturas were found in a majority of tunes listeners said give them goosebumps or make them cry, according to a 20-year-old study conducted by psychologist John Sloboda, the paper wrote.

The song also shifts in "volume, timbre, and harmonic pattern," which also contribute to creating a physical response:

When the music suddenly breaks from its expected pattern, our sympathetic nervous system goes on high alert; our hearts race and we start to sweat. Depending on the context, we interpret this state of arousal as positive or negative, happy or sad.

Although the song's co-writer Dan Wilson acknowledged he had heard about the effect of appoggiaturas, he said he thinks the song elicits a powerful response because the lyrics are filled with true, raw emotion.

"With Adele, we wrote this song that was about a desperately heartbreaking end of a relationship, and she was really, really feeling it at the time, and we were imaginatively creating," he told NPR.

However, others say the song's lyrics make the tune relatable to a wide audience.

Tomas Chamorro-Premuzic, an associate professor of psychology at Goldsmiths, University of London, told the Boston Globe that liking or disliking the song could be indicative of the type of music people are generally attracted to.

"People who really love the song tend to be more nostalgic, sentimental, and spend more time daydreaming," Chamorro-Premuzic explained. "People who dislike it are more shallow, pragmatic, and prefer positive and energetic mood states."

Whether you love it or hate the tune, Adele must be doing something right. The British songstress took home six Grammy awards Sunday night, including one for "Best Pop Solo Performance" for the melody

Photo:3 year old girl raped at Adeniji Adele, Lagos.

This incident happened yesterday afternoon at Adeniji Adele, Dolphin Estate, Phase 2. A little girl ran into a woman's shop crying. The woman asked her why she was crying, but the little girl couldn't really express herself. She just kept pointing at a particular direction, and crying. Then a few minutes later, the shop owner saw a man approaching her shop and calling on the girl to follow him. The woman asked the man who he was and why he was after the girl. The man probably realized the women wasn't going to release the girl to him, so he tried to run. The woman raised an alarm immediately shouting ole ole, thinking he was a kidnapper, not knowing he had done something much worse.

Youths in the area thinking the man was a thief descended on him. The man kept saying he wasn't a thief that the little girl was known to him. They turned to the girl and pressured her to tell them what the guy had done to her; the 3 year old told them that the man had taken her to the last floor of a 3 story building and hurt her. They checked the girl's panties and saw blood all over her private area. The blood had even dropped to her legs but nobody noticed on time.

On hearing this, the youths descended on him once again, this time more brutal. They stripped him naked, and beat him with stick, stones, bottles, etc until someone called the police who then took the man away.

Popular Actress, Jennifer Eliogu Was Disgraced In Abuja

Popular actress, Jennifer Eliogu got more than she bargained for some weeks ago when she was disgraced at the office of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) in Abuja.

According to a source, Jennifer stormed the office of NFVCB, Wuse 2, Abuja to seek favour from one of the top guns of the movies gate-keepers.

The source said, "I never knew she was that pompous. She came into the office feeling like she owned the world. She buried her head in shame when one of the top shots in the office said to her 'I don't know you'. This was after she had made people feel she was a superstar."

Interestingly, Jennifer was said to have later introduced herself properly after she had been disgraced with her fake accent. The source further revealed that it was well written all over her face that she has been well humiliated by the public disgrace meted out on her.

Jennifer is a popular actress, and the boss of Initiative for Development, Empowerment and Absolute Stability (IDEAS), a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO).

15 Year-Old Commits Suicide After Squabble With Father

Residents of Kwanan Bola Street in Badarawa a
suburb of Kaduna metropolis were yesterday
thrown into confusion when a 15-year-old girl
committed suicide allegedly because her father
scolded her. It was gathered that the deceased
drank a poisonous substance.
A source told Daily Trust that the girl after
taking the substance became unconscious. It
was further gathered that when she was
discovered, she was given liquid milk and palm
oil to "slow down the effect of the poison in her
body" before she was rushed to the hospital in
the area where she was pronounced dead.
Our correspondent who visited the deceased's home,
reports that sympathizers were seen trooping to the
house to console her parents.
A source said trouble started when the father of the
deceased, who is a police officer, had an argument
with the deceased over an issue.
"I only talked to her about an issue which I do not like.
I told her that I was not happy with her behaviour. I
said I do not like seeing boys around her, that is all we
talked about. I never raised my hand to beat her. I
liked her because she was a good girl. But look at
what she did to herself. When I was leaving the house
this morning, she was lying down in the sitting room,
and she apologized for offending me. I told her I was
not happy with her recent behaviour, and she told me
to forgive her. I was at the office when I received a
phone call that I should come home immediately that
my daughter has been rushed to Garkuwa hospital.
Before I got there, I received another call that I should
come straight home, where I met her lifeless body,"
he said.
He said initially, the deceased was not living with him,
but that she visited him a few years back and she
asked him to secure admission for her in a secondary
school in the area.
"It was when she visited us that she told me to get her
admission to proceed with her studies here in
Badarawa. She had just completed her junior
secondary school then. I just don't know why she did
what she did," he said.
The mother of the deceased refused to speak to the
press, saying they have left everything to God.
When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer in
the state, DSP Aminu Lawan, confirmed the incident,
saying the father of the girl had been invited for
questioning.
"We have invited the father for questioning because it
seems there was a problem between him and his
daughter before she died", he said.

Nigeria now priority for US visas

America, the land of the free and the home of the brave, is calling; and Nigerians are responding in their numbers.

Consider this – the US visa offices in Abuja and Lagos have already processed over 40,000 visa applications in 2012. That number is 11 per cent more that those who had applied by this time last year.

The United States, in recognition of this surge in visa applications has decided to tag Nigeria a visa priority country.

The consular officer in the US Embassy Abuja, Patty Neary, disclosed these facts at the embassy's monthly media briefing.

According to her, "Approximately, 75 per cent of these applications are tourist visas, the remaining 25 per cent are a combination of student, business, and official visas."

How many of these visa applications were granted? Patty Neary did not say. However, she disclosed that the majority of the visa applications were granted.

The good news for future visa applicants is that as a result of this new priority status given to Nigeria, the visa wait time which is currently six months will be reduced. To effect this, the three consular officers in Abuja have been directed to work longer hours and even on some Saturdays

Eldee- We Didn’t Betray New Generation Musicians

Given the wobbly and withering potency of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, a coalition of artistes led by Banky W, eLDee and MI championed the founding of a new association last year. However, the noble initiative has remained a stillbirth thus failing to entrench a formidable music body that would look out for new generation artistes.

While eLDee agrees that there have been issues militating against the new body's trajectory, Banky W, whose voice resonated the loudest then, would rather not comment.

More than a year after a coalition of some of Nigeria's brightest contemporary artistes converged on a popular hangout in Ikeja, Lagos, to effect a generational shift in the running of PMAN, by forming the association that would be their face and voice in the running of music in Nigeria, the idea has remained a stillbirth.

Burning to provide alternative leadership and direction for the new generation artistes against the run-down and polarised PMAN, producer-songwriter- singer, Lanre 'eLDee' Dabiri, had said then, "We are waging a war against an ideology that has held us back for too long. We have tried to unite and they refused; we shall begin a new movement since they don't find us worthy.

They can continue with PMAN but we, the musicians, will stand by our need for change with a new alliance that represents and protects all, old and new. How can an association that is supposed to look out for new musicians be governed by musicians who don't understand today's issues? We have built an industry out of the nothing they provided us with but they still want to be a part of determining our future; how do you plan for a future that you won't be a part of?"

So committed and enthusiastic were the artistes that they elected members into a committee that was supposed to oversee the operations of the union until a proper election was conducted. Among such are eLDee, Mr. Kool, Jude Okoye, Efe Omoregbe, Sound Sultan, Kenny Saint Brown, Banky W and Don Jazzy. eLDee had also said, "We have taken a stand and all Nigerian musicians are welcome to be a part of a new idea, a new union, young or old."

This came up February 2011 in the wake of the controversial convention of PMAN in Oshogbo, Osun State. Reiterating the expediency of the new association they were championing, R and B heartthrob, Banky W, had intoned then, "PMAN is now a shadow of what it used to be, and essentially a disgrace to the legacy those that came before put forth. Nigerian musicians are achieving worldwide success in leaps and bounds, yet, a snapshot of today's union shows that absolutely none of the significant musicians representing Nigeria is involved in the running of PMAN. Nigerian musicians have accomplished great things in spite of a union that no longer cares or caters to their needs; a union that has been run down by greed, poor leadership and an archaic mentality; and a union that has alienated the very professionals it is supposed to cater for."

Today, PMAN is almost no more. If the proponents of a new music body have done anything at all since their first meeting, the world cannot see, making many wonder and accuse Banky W, MI and eLDee especially of betraying new generation musicians.

E-Punch sought the opinions of the musicians on the prevailing situation but reps for Banky W said he found E-Punch's questions, sent via email as he was abroad at the time, inappropriate and might not be disposed to answering them. Yet, his voice was loudest back in the day.

However, Trybe Records boss and pioneer hip hop artiste, eLDee, took his time to reply E-Punch's correspondence. Says the University of Lagos Architecture graduate, "I was indeed a part of a group of musicians that reached out to the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria to lend support and review the existing situation for a way forward last year.

What we found was a system that was riddled with corruption and disarray. Yes, we did have a meeting afterwards with most contemporary Nigerian musicians present, but No, we did not create a parallel association. PMAN is a labour union, it is impossible to create two unions for one trade.

What we did was advise all artistes on what their rights are, and how to look out for their best interest, since our musicians' union was incapable at the time. There may have been groups of artistes who decided to create smaller associations but none can function in parallel with PMAN."

Continuing, he states, "I come from a generation of young, resourceful Nigerians, who revived a dying music industry, gave it a new identity, and have contributed immensely to the re-branding of Nigeria through entertainment. It took more than two decades for PMAN to disintegrate into what it has become, I am not disillusioned about how long it may take to fix PMAN.

I am very sure it will not happen overnight. I believe steps are being taken to fix the union and get it back on its feet and I applaud every one who has stepped up to lend a helping hand. I belong to the only generation that has decided to be agents of change by taking our future into our own hands.

We have done it all without any help from the government, nor PMAN. We have finally created a viable industry for musicians and continue to reinvent the business of music and entertainment in Nigeria, we are far from failures.

"Please be very careful
what you easily fall for.

General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of
God, RCCG, Pastor E.A. Adeboye, has disclosed that
some people are now impersonating him on social

He said the impersonators were fond of demanding
money from unsuspecting members of the public

heeding to such instructions.
He said "All you have to do is a search for them on
Facebook and they will add you and then pretend to
be me, telling you to send some money into an

they are using this as a new form of fraud.
"Please stop them and report those pages to

How To Know If Your Relationship Will Last

Your boyfriend/girlfriend can be the sweetest person at times, but at other times, you just can't stand them! Want to know if they're right for you?

1. See if they communicate with their ex-girlfriend/ boyfriend a lot. If so, they may be using YOU to get him/her jealous.

2. Do they care about your birthday? Drop a few hints
before your birthday to let them know what day it is. If
they get you a gift or a card, that shows that they care. If they do not, and they even FORGOT it was your birthday, they could honestly care less about your birthday!

3. Test the way they act around you. Stare at them for
a while and see what they do. If they look at you like you're stupid, that's not a good sign. However, if they look back at you and smile, that's a good sign. If you ask them a question, do they answer it thoroughly or briefly?

Tips
End the relationship if he/she tries to control you. It's not a good sign if they communicate with their ex.

Jonathan Promises Improved Standard Of Living By 2013

President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday,
promised Nigerians improved standard of living
by 2013 in his bid to deliver democracy
dividends.
Jonathan made the promise at the inauguration of the
SAB-Millers Brewery, in Onitsha, Anambra State,
according to News Agency of Nigeria.
He noted that in spite of the challenges facing the
country, the private sector was still making massive
progress, noting that the Federal Government would
continue to support the private sector Operators and
provide infrastructure to assist them.
"I want to commend this company for what it has
done; I also want to commend others for what they
are doing considering that fact that within this period
as a nation, we know we have our challenges.
"But this administration is totally committed to
changing things; we have challenges in terms of road
infrastructure, power; we have that also in security
and others.
"I know all these are major handicaps to the
development of industry in the nation; but even under
these situations the companies are trying and doing
well.
"We promise you that we would change things and
make sure that the private sector blossoms in this
country because that is the only way we can create
jobs.
"Our transformation agenda is going on, in a
partnership between government and the private
sector; that's' why even in our economic management
team we have people from the Federal Government;
state governors are there, Governors Peter Obi and
Murtala Nyako and of course key captains of industry
from the private sector."
Jonathan also noted that Nigeria's population of 160
million people, 70 per cent of which was made up of
the youth, made it an attractive investment
destination for investors.
He praised Governor Obi for deploying his private
sector experience to attract investment to the state.
"I promise SABMiller breweries investors that they
would not regret their investment in the country as
young people under the age of 35 constitute 70
percent of the country's population and we are not
under any restrictions to what they could eat or
consume."
Governor Obi, in his address promised that the people
of the state would support and stand with Jonathan
having overwhelmingly voted for him in the 2011
Presidential elections.
The governor said with the level of private sector
investments springing up, the state was fast
becoming the home of Africa's greatest
entrepreneurs.
Mr Mark Bowman, Managing Director of SAB-Miller
Africa, expressed gratitude to the Anambra and
Federal governments for creating the enabling
environment for the brewery to thrive in the country.
"We are grateful for the support and infrastructure
you have assisted us with and we promise that the
company would deliver on its promises of job
creation."
It will be recalled that SAB-Miller Breweries had
invested $100 million (N15 billion) on building a
green-field brewery in Onitsha in 2011.
The brewery is the highest direct investment by any
group or company in the history of the South-East
geo-political zone.
The factory, which is expected to produce beer and
malt for a start, has 12.5 per cent share owned by
indigenous entrepreneurs and 10 per cent share
owned by Anambra Government.
The brewery is expected to directly employ about 750
youths and indirectly engage 4,500 people, especially
through its subsidiary distribution company Interfact
Nigeria Ltd.
The brewery would be taking advantage of the largest
market in West Africa - Onitsha Main Market - as well
as 1.5 million residents excluding thousands of
visiting traders daily.
Meanwhile, Anambra State Government had
announced that it would provide tax cuts and
infrastructure to the brewery and other industries
within the Onitsha industrial harbour.

Cynthia’s Murder: Pharmaceutical Group Petitions DPP

Distrubuted by the alleged involvement of two
of its members accused of selling Rohypnol to
the suspected killers of Cynthia Osokogu.
The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, PSN, has
petitioned the Director of Public Prosecution, DPP, to
properly review the case to ensure that pharmacists
were not persecuted wrongly.
Briefing newsmen in Lagos yesterday, the PSN
National President, Mr. Azubike Okwor said the
Society had critically appraised all the issues at stake,
noting that although the PSN was not trying to
interfere with the ongoing police investigation, it was
advocating that if the suspects were not found guilty
of the crime of rape and armed robbery, they should
be handed over to the Pharmacists' Council of Nigeria,
PCN, for proper discipline for selling drugs without
prescription.
He said: "If the liability of the two pharmacists was
limited to the sales or alleged sale of Rohypnol to
clients they do not know and never collaborated in the
condemnable crime, then it would be logical to believe
there might have been breaches of professional
ethics".
He added that the law provides that such matters are
dealt with by the pharmacists Council of Nigeria.
"If found guilty only for selling the drug without
prescription should be handed over to the
Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria, PCN, for discipline.
We have reviewed the cases and we cannot
understand why they are charged.
"If they have sold the drugs without prescription,
there is a procedure already in place that provides

Over 2000 Nigerian students face deportation in UK

ondon Metropolitan University has had its right to sponsor students from outside the EU revoked, and will no longer be allowed to authorise visas.

The UK Border Agency says student attendance is not being monitored and that many have no right to be here.

The university said it would be challenging UKBA's claims.
A task force has been set up to help students affected by the decision which means some 2,000 overseas, non-EU, students have 60 days to find an
alternative institution to sponsor them or face deportation.

Announcing the move on Wednesday night, the UK Border Agency said London Metropolitan University had "failed to address serious and systemic
failings" identified six months ago.

The Higher Education Funding Council for England said it was an "unprecedented situation which
relates only to London Metropolitan University" - which has a total of 30,000 students.

It added: "It will not affect existing or future international students at other universities. No other UK university has had its licence to sponsor international students revoked, and UKBA's
decision does not in any way reflect concern about licensing arrangements at other universities in the UK."

The university's Highly Trusted Status (HTS) was suspended last month while the UKBA examined alleged failing, preventing it from being allowed to recruit overseas students.

Immigration Minister Damian Green said London Metropolitan University had failed in three particular areas: Professor Malcolm Gillies, the university's vice chancelllor, described the claims made against the institution as "not particularly cogent" and said it would be disputing them.

He said: "I am not going to say that we accept what is stated in the letter sent to us revoking our licence.

"We only received it at 8pm last night and are currently doing a full analysis, working together with the best lawyers in the country.

"I would go so far as to say that UKBA has been rewriting its own guidelines on this issue and this is something which should cause concern to all universities in the UK."

'Panic and heartbreak' The university added it had already started to work with the UKBA, Hefce, the NUS and its own students' union to tackle the issues.

Although there have been other suspensions, no other UK university has been fully stripped of its ability to recruit overseas students.

The NUS has contacted Prime Minister David Cameron and Home Secretary Theresa May to "express anger at the way that decisions have been made in recent weeks and to reiterate the potentially catastrophic effects on higher education as a £12.5bn per year export industry for the UK".

NUS president Liam Burns said: "This decision will create panic and potential heartbreak for students not just at London Met but also all around the country.

"This heavy-handed decision makes no sense for students, no sense for institutions and no sense for the country.

This situation and the botched process by which the decision was arrived at could be avoided if international students were not included in statistics of permanent migrants."

Mr Burns added the decision could have been limited to future students rather than covering existing ones.'Last resort'

But the UKBA said allowing London Metropolitan University to continue to sponsor and teach international students "was not an option".

It said it had been working with the university since it identified failings six months ago.

It added: "These are problems with one university, not the whole sector. British universities are among the best in the world - and Britain remains a top- class destination for top-class international students.

"We are doing everything possible, working with Universities UK, to assist genuine students that have been affected."

Universities Minister David Willetts has announced a task force to help overseas students affected by the decision, which will include UKBA and the NUS.

He said: "It is important that genuine students who are affected through no fault of their own are offered prompt advice and help, including, if necessary, with finding other institutions at which to finish their studies."

But Universities UK President Professor Eric Thomas said there were alternative ways of addressing UKBA's concerns and that the "revocation of a university's licence should only be a decision of last resort".

It added that the move would cause anxiety and distress to many legitimate international students.

University and College Union warned that the move would have an impact on future recruitment of foreign students.

Its general secretary Sally Hunt said: "No matter how this is dressed up, the damaging message that the UK deports foreign students studying at UK universities will reach all corners of the globe."

Don Jazzy and I –Tiwa Savage

You do not come across Tiwa Savage in person for the first time and fail to notice the passion and confidence she
exudes. This better comes alive when asked to speak about her music career.
It sure does not come as a surprise, as the 32-year- old singer, who does not look any bit her age, kicked off her music career in the UK, touring as a back-up singer for international stars like Mary J. Blige, Sting, George Michael, Kelly Clarkson and the Spice Girls....

Her impressive resumenotwithstanding, Savage, who is the only female in the Don Jazzy-led, Marvin Records music label, is quite approachable. Although
she says her label mates do not make her feel like a lady in their midst, her inclusion in the team has given rise to speculations of a steamy romance
between her and Don Jazzy.

The rumour was further fuelled when the latter, who has never collaborated with any artiste outside of the disbanded Mo Hits Crew', featured on her single, Without My Heart.

To these allegations, Savage lets out a hearty laugh, saying, "The rumours are false. Don Jazzy and I have
always been friends. He helped me out from the beginning, even before Mavin Records. I have always and will always look up to him. He is a great man and
I appreciate his talent so much. He also has a really good heart."

In less than two years since she moved back to Nigeria, the slender singer has won a large following for herself and has gradually wormed her way to the
enviable position as a top musician in the country.

Yet, she rules out 'luck factor.' "A lot of people see it as a short period but I can
assure you I have been working for many years to get here. It is a journey that has spanned many years
and three continents just to get here. I am grateful to God that I now have the opportunity to sing but it has been a lot of hard work."
Savage's dress sense and appearance have made her nothing short of a sex symbol in the industry. Notwithstanding, she confesses that she was initially
not comfortable with her skin colour.

"I used to have such a complex about being dark skinned and was told that I was not beautiful and sometimes when someone complimented me, they
would say, 'You look good for a dark-skinned girl' but eventually when I moved to the U.S., people started
to really compliment me. So I guess the secret is appreciating how God created you. Once you feel
good on the inside it will show on the outside."
According to the Berkley College of Music, UK
graduate, she is not threatened by the crop of female
artistes trying to break through in the competitive
Nigerian music scene. For her, there is no challenge
what so ever.
"If anything we even need more female musicians.
There are not enough of us. I am actually in awe of
many of them: Omawumi, Waje, Asa, Eva are all
doing great things in music. Many powerful women
have paved the way for someone like me and the
truth is there are amazing female artistes that are
relentless in their efforts to build the female
presence in the music industry. We are working so
hard to make sure we close the gap in such a male
dominated industry."
With less than six singles to her credit, her yet-to-be-
released album has become one of the most
anticipated in the industry. She reveals that it will be
a blown-away.
"The album will be out very soon and apart from my
usual style, I am experimenting with some different
sounds too. I think listeners will be pleasantly
surprised. I was happy that O Ma Ga was well
received because it was a departure from my typical
style. I am not necessarily pushing for an
international collaboration right now as I feel when
the time is right it will happen. I would love to do a
collaboration with Brandy though; she is my all-time
favourite."
With some celebrities constantly striving to live up to
the expectations of the public and fans, Savage says
she is never compelled to bow to pressure. "From the
beginning, I have always just allowed the music to
speak for itself and I strongly believe that as long as
you are true to yourself, you maintain your integrity
and continue to stay humble and create great music,
you will be free to enjoy the journey and use your gift
to bless people as supposed to always feeling
pressured. The only pressure I feel is to always do
better."
When asked what she considers the greatest
misconception being held about her, she says,
"Probably that I am some kind of diva. In reality I am
most comfortable wearing a T-shirt and some
leggings. I'm not even a big fan of heels."

Management of the hotel where cynthia was murder sack staffs

he management of the hotel where Cynthia Osokogu was murdered on July 22nd have sacked all the staff on duty on the day of the murder.

The management of Cosmilla Hotel, located at Lake View Estate, Amuwo Odofin in Lagos, said they sacked the staff because they breached security protocol of the hotel.

Not only did Cynthia's murderers check in with fake IDs, the front desk didn't get Cynthia's details, making it difficult to identify her body after her attackers took away all items that could have helped to identify her. She was in the morgue for over 2 weeks before anyone knew who she was.

5 Kisses Everyone Should Master

Here is a comprehensive how-to guide on the five kisses everyone should master.

1) The First Kiss

Brush your lips softly against hers before you start with any serious tongue action. Touch his/her face (lightly). Doubling down on physical contact will intensify sensations for both of you.

2) The Public Kiss

Don't go overboard; public kisses should be … G-rated. If you have to surpass G-rated — just make it brief. A stolen kiss in a dimly-lit bar that involves some darting tongue and perhaps a lingering nibble of the lip on the pull-away is a great way to hint at greater things to come later on.

3) The "I Want You" Kiss

Push your partner up against a wall and press your tongue into hers with purpose. The onus always seems to be on the guy to make this kind of aggressive play. I cannot impress enough on you how hot it is when a girl flips the gender script and takes control from time to time.

4) The Sex Kiss

I recommend softly pressing your lips up against her the moment you enter her, and then backing off for a minute or so while you two find your groove before kissing her again.

You can also try the phantom kissing game. What the heck does that mean? Open your mouth and hover in as if you are going to lay one on him/her. At the last second, pull back, leaving contrails of dewy breath behind to suggest the kiss that almost was. Hopefully your partner will take a cue and do the same. It becomes a game of chicken. Continue the charade till someone gets too worked up and simply has to kiss the other. This is great during pre-coital makeouts, too, but it's especially awesome mid-deed.

5) The 10,000th Kiss

I am personally a fan of an old-fashioned makeout session that only goes about as far as second base.

Obasanjo Blasts Eedris Abdulkarem Again

For those who thought former President
Olusegun Obasanjo's anger towards Nigerian
rapper, Eidris Abdulkarem's 2004 hit song,
"Nigeria jaga jaga", has subsided and gone
with the years goofed because the dust is
yet to settle on the matter.
According to him, "One of the worst problems
Nigeria is facing is disbelief.
Nigerians no longer believe in themselves
neither do they believe in their country. That
takes me back to that song 'jaga jaga'. How
could a sane man dare to call his country
jajajaja? It is the height of blasphemy.
We are grooming our youths for tomorrow's
leadership and with such persons I don't think
the country can move forward.
Concretely put, leadership connotes ability to
inspire, direct, move, motivate, propel and
encourage others positively to the targeted end.
It is simply the ability to lead others.
An effective leader strives to avoid failure by
guarding against inability to organize details,
unwillingness to render humble services, fear of
competition from followers, lack of imagination,
selfishness, intemperance, living on rumors and
gossips, favoritism and nepotism, emphasis on
title and authority, excessive stress and burn
out.
He must also remember that leadership is an
interaction between the characteristics of the
leader himself and the characteristics of the
situation in which leadership takes place."
Conclusively, the Ota farmer buttressed that,
"leadership should be a relay race and not an
obstacle race."

Ebonyi police arrest 7 men for killing 7-year-old girl

Officers of the Ebonyi State Police Command, on Tuesday, announced the arrest of seven suspects in connection with the murder of a 7-year-old girl,
Ukamaka Ogboji.

The victim was allegedly killed for ritual purposes
on Sunday at Agubia in Ikwo Local Government Area of the state. The suspects had earlier kidnapped Ogboji for monetary gains, and then
dismembered her body parts before dumping same in a cassava farm.

The State Police Command spokesperson, Sylvester Igbo, while confirming the arrest of the
suspects, commended the community youth organisation known as Ebonyi Youth Assembly for their assistance towards the arrest of the suspects.
Igbo revealed that two of the suspects had already confessed to the crime, adding that the police had
commenced full investigation to ascertain the motive behind the brutal killing of the deceased.
"What we have observed at the scene made us to
attribute the killing to ritual killing and not
kidnapping, because the corpse of the deceased
was without two legs, hands and eyes," he said.

"From the act, it is a ritual killing. Through police Investigation, we have been able to arrest seven suspects, among whom two have confessed to the crime. One of them confessed that his mother was the spiritual mother of the girl when she was baptised."

Foluke Daramola Breaks Pastor’s Home

Actress and movie producer, Foluke Daramola is alleged to have being the reason behind the marriage break up between Kayode Salako and his wife, Olubukola, a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God.

The enviable marriage of Lagos big boy, Kayode Salako who runs the popular Fasholamania Independent Support Movement, a non- partisan support group for the efforts of Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola (SAN) and a non-governmental organization called Change Agents of Nigeria Network(CANN) to pastor Olubukola Salako is in trouble and apparently heading for a crash.

Their marriage, which has lasted for 13 years according to reliable sources, became a major issue in the Salako's family when pastor Olubukola on July 13th , 2012 packed all her belongings from their Lagos matrimonial home and took their boys the union had produced to an undisclosed abode.

Information at our disposal also revealed that, the respected female pastor may have also left stern instruction with members off her church, a Redeem Christian Church of God located inside Omole Estate, Ikeja Lagos never to disclose her where about to her husband who has since been doing everything possible to be in touch with her and the kids.

When Kayode Salako was contacted about his troubled marriage and tales about Foluke Daramola being the cause.

He said, "it is my private life which I'm not supposed to make public but I will speak because of Foluke Daramola who is very close to me, and also the head of National Publicity Office of (CANN). My wife voluntarily moved out of my home about two months ago and the reason she gave was that my family members want to kill her, that she was no longer willing to live with me. Four days after she moved out her lawyers wrote to me notifying me of her intention to file for a divorce. Her reason was that my only brother was threatening to kill her. To my utmost surprise my wife moved out with 85% things in the house. She did this within eight days."

Mr. Kayode Salako owns a standard private secondary school known as Bosworth College International at Mafoluku, Oshodi, Rebecca Properties, Beverly Bond Investment Limited, Keroplus, a petroleum product marketing outfit that deals with diesel and kerosene.
He hails from Igbajo in Osun State, and we hear that he is always with Foluke Daramola, the Nollywood actress whose marriage broke up two years ago.

“God has answered our prayers” – PHCN workers rejoice over Nnaji’s resignation

It's bye-bye for Barth Nnaji. All his vision and plans for the power sector will either die with his resignation or if he's lucky, pursued by his successor.

Read: Why I resigned – Barth Nnaji

PHCN workers around the country have, however, made their feelings about his departure clear, and it's simple – We won't miss you, Barth.

Nnaji has been engaged in a long running battle with some electricity unions. At one point during the recent PHCN strike, some employees in Lagos had alleged that Nnaji was scared of coming to Lagos because he knew he was going to be mobbed.

Their bone of contention with the former minister was that he refused to accede to the amount they sought as severance benefit in anticipation of the privatisation in that sector.

The general secretary of the Senior Staff Association of Electricity and Allied Companies (SSSAEA), Abiodun Ogunsegha, in reaction to Nnaji's removal, said that all the PHCN workers across the country were thanking God.

"God has eventually answered our prayers and made the government to listen to us. It is obvious that the government has noted his several misdeeds. We are all very happy. In fact, we thank God for answering our prayers. We hope the government will appoint a right person that will carry all stakeholders along, especially the union to give Nigeria a stable power supply," he said.

The mood was no different at PHCN Akangba, Surulere, as staff held a praise/worship session after receiving news of Nnaji's resignation

Guardian UK Review D'Banj's UK Concert

D'banj took the stage by storm in London on 27th
August. Here's a review of the concert courtesy of
the Guardian, UK.
Check it out
"As he's the figurehead of Nigerian Afrobeats, it
feels appropriate that D'Banj's debut UK headline
show takes place on the final day of the Notting Hill
carnival. Alongside the usual dancehall and soca, a
good proportion of the anthems that fuelled this
year's sound systems and floats are the hits that
have propelled the rise of Afrobeats in the UK:
Atumpan's The Thing, Ice Prince's Oleku and, of
course, D'Banj's own Oliver Twist, a song of such
popular reach that it even made it on to
EastEnders.
Keeping that carnival spirit going is D'Banj's MO
tonight, as is that of a significant proportion of the
audience, who have hotfooted it down the road
from the carnival. As an entertainer, D'Banj treads
the line between suave and rambunctious with
ease: his dapper yellow-lapelled blazer is swiftly
shed as he starts to rival his own dancers in snake-
hipped, low-grinding ability, and the gold chain
follows as he plunges off stage for a spot of crowd-
surfing. By the show's climax, D'Banj is half-naked
and essaying moves that seem to refer mostly to
the title of his forthcoming album, Mr Endowed.
After a late entrance compounded by technical
difficulties leaves the crowd slightly restless,
D'Banj may feel putting that level of work in is
necessary – but it transpires that the music does
the trick just as well. "This is not a fluke," he
announces midway through the show, perhaps
mindful that not everyone present is aware of his
seven-year career before Oliver Twist. Tonight,
though, his older material goes down almost as
well, from the call-and-response of Why Me to the
lovelorn Scapegoat, and D'Banj bridges the gap
between his more lilting, organic songs and his
recent tougher, trancier dance-floor anthems with
ease. His between-song patter has a tendency to
ramble, but the show's culmination in Oliver Twist
is stellar proof that an international hit can be
engineered with ease if based around a resonant,
inarguable statement such as"I like Beyoncé"."

Cynthia killer- I Rape Girls I Meet On Facebook,Cynthia Is My 5th Victim

I have done this say like,
four times before now but
none of the girls died. This is
the first time someone died
in the process. Whenever
they take the drink, I will
sleep with them and they will just lose memory of all
that transpired," said Nwabufo Okwumo.
TON gathered that the killers also revealed that the
late Cynthia had a vibrator sex toy with her which
they also used on her. The details are sad but will
teach everyone a lesson.
Emotions ran high at the Lagos State Police
Command headquarters Ikeja on Wednesday,
following startling revelations by two university
students on how Cynthia Osokogu, the only daughter
of a retired General was strangled inside a hotel in
Festac area of the state.
While the police paraded the suspects, Nwabufo
Okwumo, 33, and Odera Ezekiel, 23, discovered to be
cousins, claimed their intention was never to kill the
25 year-old post graduate student of Nasarawa State
University but to collect her money and jewelries.
The "main" suspects, Nwabufo, a 300 level
Accounting student of the University of Lagos,
admitted to have been chatting with the deceased on
BlackBerry for sometime. In the process, she
revealed her true background including the fact that
she owned a boutique.
But unknown to her, Nwabufo who hails from Nnewi,
Anambra State had a sinister motive. Along the line,
the deceased, according to him, informed him that
she was coming to Lagos to buy wigs and
attachments for her saloon. The suspect then paid for
the air ticket.
How the deed was done
The deceased arrived Lagos on July 21, 2012, and she
was picked at the Murtala Mohammed Airport by
Nwabufo and driven straight to a hotel called
Casmilla on 6th Avenue, Festac town where
Nwabufor had earlier made reservation with a fake
name.
Inside the hotel, Nwabufo reportedly offered a bottle
of Moet to Cynthia which she reportedly declined on
the ground that she does not take alcohol. The
suspect thereafter, asked her to take a Ribena drink
from the fridge. But unknown to her, the three
packets of Ribena had been drugged. He confessed
that she took three; one in the afternoon, another in
the evening and the third, the next morning.
Next day, she reportedly became tipsy. Even at that
state, it was reliably gathered that Cynthia did not
allow Nwabufo to sleep with her the previous night.
It was learnt that in the morning, the second suspect,
Odera came in. At that point, Cynthia who apparently
had started feeling the effect of the drugs asked who
the visitor was. Rather than getting an answer, she
was reportedly pinned down by Nwabufo, with her
hands and legs tied. At that state, Nwabufo allegedly
raped her twice. His cousin, Odera reportedly took
over and used a sex vibrator on her.
What led to her being killed
In his confessional statement, Nwabufo said his
intention was never to kill her. He admitted however,
that Cynthia was not his first victim, disclosing that
all he did was to propose to them through blackberry
and later invite them to the hotel, where he drugged
and dispossessed them of cash and other valuables.
According to him: "It was a mistake, I never meant to
kill her. I invited her from Abuja as my friend on July
21. I was trying to dislodge her by tying her hands
and I hit her in the process. I tied her because I did
not want her to know I was escaping from the hotel.
We had a mutual agreement for her to come over. I
met her from BB (blackberry) group chat. She came
to buy some things for her boutique in Abuja. We had
a disagreement. I did not rape her. It was the devil's
handwork.
"I wanted to run because I knew I had committed a
serious offence against her. I thought she had money
on her that I can collect. So in the process, I tied her
with cellotape to make her not to shout. I was not the
only person, it was I and my cousin, Odera that did it.
We tied her together and beat her together.
"Yes, I invited her and in the process we felt like
robbing her of all she had. The condom the police
saw on me is what I used personally. I used it on her
based on the sex toy with her. She came with a
vibrator sex toy, so I inserted the condom on the sex
toy and later dropped it there. I did not make love to
her. If they test the condom forensically, it will prove
that I did not use it on her.
"I drugged her with RAFINOL through Ribena drink. I
bought three packets of Ribena and when she took it,
she became weak. It was my cousin that drugged the
drink, he used a syringe and administered ten tablets
of it inside the drink.
"Usually, I use hotels in Festac. I have used Opera
mini Hotel, Benny, Chelsea and Concilia. I feel bad
because I did not bargain for this – to kill her in the
first instance. It is just unfortunate and it was an
accident."
His partner in the crime, Odera Ezekiel, said: " I am
also an Accounting student of Nnamdi Azikiwe
University, Awka. The morning it happened, my
brother called me to come to the hotel to help him
bind the girl so that he can dispossess her of her
belongings.
"My mission at the hotel was to come and help him
bind the girl. In the process of trying to bind the girl,
she put up struggle and we assaulted her and in the
process, she passed out. I did not hit her with any
hard object and we didn't have any weapon with us.
My brother only told me he wanted to take her
money. I have not done it before. He asked me to buy
the drink for him".

Why I Resigned As Minister of Power – Professor Bart Nnaji

The Minister of Power, Professor Bart Nnaji on Tuesday 28th August, 2012 resigned from office. His resignation which came as a surprise to many was amidst controversies and allegations of conflict of interest in the privatization process of the Power Holding Company of Nigeria.

The privatization of 17 electricity firms is scheduled to be concluded in two months' time. Also, the former Minister was said to be at loggerheads with some PHCN workers on various issues.
Punch reported that in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Dr. Reuben Abati, the President accepted his resignation and thanked him for his services to the nation.

This is also following Nnaji's admission that companies linked to him had submitted bids for one of the successor companies created from the unbundling of the PHCN.

Following his resignation, there have been several reports in the media alleging that he was sacked and did not resign voluntarily.

However, speaking to This Day on Tuesday night on his decision to leave the cabinet, Nnaji said he opted to resign in order to save the privatization and reform programme from those who might want to use ulterior motives to bring down the programme. Nnaji said he had met with President Goodluck Jonathan on Tuesday afternoon, during which the President informed him that he was using his company as a proxy to buy shares on behalf of the president in Afam power station through the privatisation process.

On hearing this, he informed the president that rather than drag him (Jonathan) and the entire process through the mud, he would prefer to resign but reminded the president that he had brought it to his attention two weeks ago that a company he owned was part of a bidding consortium that had submitted bids for Enugu Distribution Company.

Nnaji also told Thisday that there have been all sorts of efforts to bring him down since his appointment as Special Adviser to the President on Power and later power minister, but decided on Tuesday that it was best to leave rather that allow fourth columnists to mar the entire process.

"It is a huge conspiracy to scuttle the programme, but rather than drag the president and the programme down, I decided to tender my resignation," he said.

Vágíná tightening créám finally launched

An Indian company has launched what it claims is the country's first Vágíná tightening cream, saying it will make women feel "like a vírgin" again. The company says it is about empowering women, but critics say it is doing the opposite.

It is certainly a bold claim. As the music starts playing on the advertisement for the 18 Again cream, a sari-clad woman is singing and dancing.

It is an unusual take on Bollywood.
"I feel like a vírgin," she croons, although the advert makes it clear she is not.
Her shocked in-laws look on, before her husband joins her for some salsa-style dancing.
"Feels like the very first time," she continues, as she is twirled around.

Cut away to her mother-in-law who begins by responding with a disgusted look on her face, but by the end of the advert even she has been won over, and is seen buying the product online
The makers of 18 Again, the Mumbai-based pharmaceutical company Ultratech, say it is the first of its kind in India (similar creams are already available in other parts of the world such as the USA), and fills a gap in the market.

Ultratech's owner, Rishi Bhatia, says the cream, which is selling for around $44 (£28), contains natural ingredients including gold dust, aloe vera, almond and pomegranate, and has been clinically tested.

"It's a unique and revolutionary product which also works towards building inner confidence in a woman and boosting her self esteem," says Mr Bhatia, adding that the goal of the product is to "empower women".

Mr Bhatia says the product is not claiming to restore a woman's vírginity, but to restore the emotions of being a vírgín.

"We are only saying, 'feel like a vírgin' - it's a metaphor. It tries to bring back that feeling when a person is 18."

But the company's advertising strategy has attracted criticism from some doctors, women's groups and social media users, who say the product reinforces the widely held view in India that pré-marital séx is something to be frowned upon, a taboo which is even seen as sinful by some.

"This kind of cream is utter nonsense, and could give some women an inferiority complex," argues Annie Raja from the National Federation of Indian Women, which fights for women's rights in the country.

Ms Raja says that rather than empower women, the cream will do the opposite, by reaffirming a patriarchal view that is held by many here - the notion that men want all women to be virgins until their wedding night. "Why should women remain a virgin until marriage?

It is a woman's right to make loveual relations with a man, but society here still says they should not until they are brides."
