5 similarities btw a relationship and car

Everyone wants a super relationship no doubt; the "and they live
happily ever after" type, but it's no news that finding or building up
that kind of a romantic affair is easier wished than established, how
sad. It is said that rather than looking for a perfect partner in a
relationship, try making yourself the perfect party, and in our quest
of helping you become a better you we discovered that even a mere
object could assist as well. An object? I could hear you gasp, yes an
object, a car to be precise. It's okay if you wrinkle your nose in
disbelief, just open your mind while reading the comparisons below.

#1. Listen to your car always
Some drivers never take time to "listen" to their rides just because
it seem to be cruising smoothly and when the car engine breaks
down unexpectedly they'd find it hard to believe the mechanic when
he says it definitely have been giving sounds of warning for quite
some time, just as some people get too busy with their career,
friends, investment, anything to notice that their relationship is
going down the drain. Always listen by been observation.

#2. Some cars are not worth the upkeep
No matter how much you spend on some cars it just won't be road
worthy, likewise some relationship are not worth keeping because
everything invested in it like time, love, care, patience among others
are just not being appreciated and returned. It's certain that any car
owner that have such car wouldn't hesitate to do away with it no
matter how much that car is loved if he wants to be sane, then you
know what to do with the kind of relationship.

#3. Always insist on a test drive before you commit
You work out the car you like and start searching for them in person
and online. It's certain you won't buy without seeing, and it's unwise
to buy the one that seem like the right car without test driving it to
know if it's really worth committing your hard earn resources on,
same applies to relationships. Most people get carried away with
physical beauty and then propose without taking the necessary
precautions only to realise later that there's fire on the mountain.

#4. Observe regular maintenance
Car owners maintain their vehicle's good state by servicing regularly
and as at when due which most times doesn't differ from the
simpler ones like checking the water and oil level, gauging tires etc
to changing what needs to be changed. Similarly maintain your
relationship by doing what is required, which includes simple things
like showing care, being supportive among others which will in turn
give you a longer lasting and rewarding relationship.

#5. Most cars aren't the same after accident
Auto-mechanics might do a perfect job after a major accident by
matching the colour, fixing the body and changing other damaged
parts, but at times what really needs to be restored isn't physical
but psychological as you'd find it hard to forget how the wreck was
which could result in "feeling" some things that you might not be
able to explain whether real or imagined. It's like that after a major
wreck in relationships like cheating, you both might try to repair it,
but it's rarely restored to the way it was.
