Ye' received the highest nominations for his collaborative work with Jay Z on the 'Watch the Throne' album, and his upcoming work on the G.O.O.D Music compilation album 'Cruel Summer'.
Rapper 2Chainz, follows with an impressive 13 nominations while Drake gets the nod in 11 categories.
The awards will hold on Tuesday October 9 2012 and is to be hosted for the fourth year running, by actor Mike Epps at Atlanta's Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Centre.
Since he missed making an appearance at the VMA's some couple of weeks back because of his girlfriend, hopefully, the couple will make a grand appearance at this event!
