They may not be mentioned in the same breath with A-list actresses who possess mouth-watering endorsement deals with conglomerates; nonetheless the effervescent and charming Enugu State-born queens of numerous chartbusting movies, Chidinma and Chidiebere Aneke are no pasties.

The identical twins warmed their ways into hearts of many movie buffs in 2004, when they embraced the klieg lights.

After thrilling movie buffs in hit flicks such as: Crazy Twins, Jealous Friends, Desperate Twins, Lagos Girls, Broken Ambition, Revenge of the Gods, among others, the Business Administration and Mass Communication graduates of Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu are not resting on their oars.

Although, from a polygamous background, the entertainers believe that the sky is their starting point.

The Aneke sisters in a recent interview granted to E-Express, opened up on several issues bordering their burgeoning careers especially their desire to walk down the aisle with twin brothers the same day, which is not forth coming, why they cant marry Peter and Paul Okoye of the P Square fame and how lesbians bombard them with text messages.

They said: "Our prayer is to marry twin brothers and have our weddings same day. We pray for this every day. Our suitors can pay our bride prices differently, but we want the wedding to hold on the same day. God said 'my daughter, ask anything you want and it shall be granted."

This form of union referred to as quaternary marriage doesn't happen too often. Over the years, only few twin sisters across the shore of Nigeria have walked down the aisle with identical twin grooms, why they can't marry Peter and Paul Okoye of the P Square fame and how lesbians bombard the with love messages.

Asked if they would accept marriage proposal from P Sqaure, the Anekes affirmed, "If they come we would've to pray over it. We can't just say yes to them, except if it's the will of God. Even Jesus Christ told God 'let your will be done'. With the level we've attained in Christianity, we don't think we can just wake up and say yes to anybody that comes seeking our hands in marriage.

"They are good on their side, but we can't just say yes like that. This is because once we are married, we are married. We would not on any ground go out of our marriages. So that is why we are being careful with who we say 'yes I do' to.

"Look, money is not everything oh! God will always show you signs to prove to you that so so person is your husband. I want a situation where I will miss my husband whenever he is not around. See my brother; it's after white wedding and traditional wedding that the real marriage sets in! One has to be very careful when going into marriage, if we marry, we will even buy condoms and give our husbands once they are stepping out! The fact that almost every man cheats is unarguable. Even my late father at his old age was still saying 'Ada kedu' (fine girl how far?)(Laughter). But he loved and cared for his children. One woman is hardly enough for any man."

On how they are copping with the menace of lesbianism currently rocking the movie industry, the fast rising duo said: "They (lesbians) have been sending us text messages. They don't come to us direct. They will call our PA and start passing all kind of messages to us. They have been calling and sending messages.

GIST : Fresh twist in Davido’s assault case

On Aug. 12, 2012, CRIME DIGEST reported that popular singer, David
Adeleke, aka Davido, allegedly assaulted a taxi driver in Lagos and that his publicist, Valerie Obaeze, claimed via an e-mail that the singer knew nothing about the incident.

In a related development, Hashiru Azeez, the employer of the taxi driver, whose name is Femi Ajibola, told CRIME DIGEST that Davido himself said
that the taxi driver was assaulted by his cousins...

Azeez confirmed that he gave a Toyota Corolla to Ajibola on hire purchase.
"I gave it out to him on hire purchase. When Ajibola initially told me about this matter, I did not believe him.

Later, I went to Beni's Apartment in company
with Sgt. Nuru Umar, who is the Investigating Police
Officer, and we found out that he was right.
"We went to the DPO and he called Davido's father
after I took time to explain who the boy was," Azeez
said.
Immediately after the story was published, the young
woman who was conveyed in the cab to see Davido
allegedly threatened Ajibola at the taxi park where
he operates.
"I got a call from Ajibola that Susan allgedly went to
the park to threaten him. She said that if he was
claiming that he lost N100,000 during the incident
with Davido, she would pay the money. Then she
asked if the cab driver had forgotten that she lost her
cell-phone, which was valued at N175,000.
"She said that Ajibola would have to produce her
phone because he was the one that took them to the
hotel in his cab. She added that she would deal with
him," he said.
The car dealer said he had advised his employee to
report the matter at the nearest police station.
However, since the case had initially been reported at
the Bar Beach Police Station, Ajibola was directed to
go and lodge his complaint there.
Azeez said, "Ajibola went to Maroko Police Station,
but he was directed to the Bar Beach Police Station
because he had already reported the case there."
Azeez said that a petition had been written on his
behalf to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in
charge of Zone 2 about the incident. He stated that
somehow, the Adelekes got wind of this and
contacted him for a meeting.
"A lawyer, Malachy Ukwamadu, wrote a petition on
our behalf to the AIG Zone 2. We had written the
petition even before the publication. Somehow, the
Adeleke family got to know that we had written a
petition and they got someone to ask me to come
with Ajibola to the Bar Beach Police Station. They
said they would bring Davido to the station. The boy
had surrendered himself and the police were ready to
prosecute him. It was hard to believe, but I was
optimistic," the car dealer said.
Azeez said he was advised not to honour the
invitation by a policeman who warned that the case
might be tilted to the advantage of Davido.
"The policeman warned that there was an ulterior
motive behind the invitation. He said the moment
that Ajibola stepped into the Bar Beach Police
Station, the case would change and turn against him.
"This prompted us to invite a lawyer to go to the
station instead of Ajibola. Ukwamadu was out of
town. So, we invited Bar. Ademola Olamide. While we
waited for them to bring Davido, the IPO told the
lawyer that they wanted to negotiate.
"Olamide said that he thought they wanted to bring
in Davido and why was it that it was the police that
wanted to negotiate. Should they not be neutral?"
Azeez said.
The lawyer insisted he would not talk to the police
unless they brought Davido to the station. The IPO
then phoned somebody who spoke with Olamide and
agreed to meet him.
When meeting took place on Aug. 12, the lawyer
informed Azeez that the picture painted by Davido
was different from what he had learnt from the
complainant.
Azeez said, "I was asked to come over to explain.
Fortunately, we had our witness. While the counsel
was disputing what we said, we called in the witness.
He is a driver and he drove along with Ajibola; he had
some guys in his vehicle and I learnt that those girls
brought those guys.
"When we brought in our witness, they calmed down.
Davido then said that he was not the one that
assaulted Ajibola. He said that the guys we were
claiming were his bodyguards were actually his
cousins. He said that it was Bayo, one of his cousins,
who beat up Ajibola."
Suspecting a foul play somewhere, Azeez asked what
business Bayo had with Susan since she was
Davido's girlfriend.
"We told him that from his conversation, Susan was
his girlfriend and why would Bayo beat up Susan? At
a point, they said that they would like to compensate
Ajibola and that they wanted to know how much
Ajibola made in a day.
"They said that they would pay two weeks' earnings.
I was not there when they were discussing the
money issue. I told my lawyer that there was no basis
for compensation since he denied assaulting Ajibola.
I said he should produce those who beat up Ajibola,
that the police should do their job and we would
know what step to take from there," he said.
Azeez told CRIME DIGEST that Ajibola's car keys had
not been returned to him. He said that an agency
that fights for the cause of the less privileged had
contacted him and was ready to help out in the
matter.
"The agency champions the cause of the less
privileged and they are willing to assist us in seeking
justice. Davido claims he was not the one that
assaulted the driver; but how did he get hold of the
car keys before handing it to his father and later, the
DPO?
"Why would he take someone's car keys and keep
them? Up till now, nobody has confirmed if Davido
has written any statement regarding this case. We
still believe that he is above the law until he comes
out to say his own part of the story. If at all we agree
to negotiate with him, he should accept that he was
wrong to have assaulted a man that is 16 years older
than him and apologise for his behaviour. Then we
will know what to do from there," he said.
When CRIME DIGEST contacted Susan on the phone,
a male voice answered the call, claiming it was a
wrong number. However, Obaeze, Davido's publicist,
maintained that her client knew nothing about the
incident.
In an e-mail to CRIME DIGEST, the publicist wrote,
"Thanks for your enquiry and effort to get our own side of the story, but our previous statement (still) stands.

Davido was neither aware of nor involved in any incident involving the assault of a taxi driver or the illegal seizure of his keys. He does not condone violence in any form and will not be commenting further on this matter."

The Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 2 Police Command, Femi Balogun, confirmed that the case was being handled by his command. He said that the AIG had ordered that Davido should be brought before him with the Toyota Corolla used as taxi.

He said they did not know where Davido is and he would be picked up once they have information on his whereabouts.

Life style : Seven Most Ridiculous Lies Guys Tell

1. "This Benz belongs to me, I have a thriving business and my brother works with Zenith bank as a top official"

This lie was told by a guy who was asking me out a few years back. I was in my final year and he was a close friend to one of my friends. I wasn't really interested in him and so when he said some things I found unnecessary and appalling, I never bothered to question it.

But one day, the Benz that was supposedly his wasn't in his compound and I noticed another Benz parked there. Now this Benz was a Benz 200 and need I say it needed about three seasons of pimp my ride dedicated to it alone!

I asked who the Benz was for and where his other car was and he went on and on about nothing. Curious, I asked the friend who hooked us up and then she said the Benz he'd claimed was his, was his mom's and the one that I just saw in his house was his.

Then she went ahead to fill me in the story she should have earlier (which she forgot to for a reason I still don't understand) she told me the guy was a liar and that he usually told the whole world he had a brother who worked in a bank but the brother didn't and had never worked in a bank, why that lie was necessary I would never understand.

2. "Because I care about you and what we have, I have to be better for you"

My friend Reanne was the recipient of this lie a few years back, when the guy she was with, refused to come pick her the night they were supposed to see. He came back the following day to say this lie and of course she believed him. Only for her to realise a few days later that some other chic had shared his bed that same night.

3. "I have an inverter in my house. I never have problems with light"

I wasn't the recipient of this lie but I was right there while it was being told and when the liar got busted. Reanne and I had just met this guy and his friend. While his friend and I were talking, I overheard the guy tell Reanne light was never his problem and screw PHCN. Later that evening, while we were on our way home, Reanne innocently mentioned the inverter story and the other guy, who I had been talking to all the while, said "oh guy, u get inverter?" His statement was followed by an awkward silence and of course we never saw him again. Uncalled for, you'll agree?

4. "If I leave this girl, she would go to her father's grave and swear for me because I popped her cherry"

Giselle heard this from a certain boyfriend of hers some years back. He had been lying about seeing a particular girl and when she'd finally caught him pants down, he invented this ridiculous lie. It is interesting no note that this girl's cherries weren't exactly popped by Giselle's then boyfriend.

5. "This is my father's house; I am the one in charge because I'm the only one in the family who likes the peace and quiet of Ibadan. Everyone else is in Lagos"

This classic lie is one of the 1st lies I was ever told by a guy. I was 16. We had just moved to our house then and this older guy was always trying to talk to me. I never gave him attention because 1. I feared what my mother would do to me if she realised I was making friends with guys on the street barely a month after and because 2. I just didn't like the guy.

He waited for me to be sent on errands and always followed me. Then one day, after realising he was never going to get his chance, he pointed to where he lived and said it was his dad's but because none of his family members were around it was technically his.

He even went further to state that he moved into the BQ because he was humble *confused face*. I was young and naïve about a few things but most definitely not stupid. I didn't question it though, I only told my immediate younger bro, Temi and we laughed about it.

Then soon enough, the son of the real landlord and I were introduced by a mutual friend and I learnt as one story led to another that my friend who claimed to own the house was a shoemaker and his mom a petty trader. The guy moved away from the BQ a few years back to another house close by. And when I see him these days, I wonder if he remembers the interesting lie he once told me.

6. "I am a virgin. I'd like you to be the one who would disvirgin me"

This lie as far as I'm concerned is the most ridiculous and unbelievable lie a girl can ever hear. It was told to me by one of the most notorious and baddest boys, who I knew some of the girls he had slept with in the past. Apparently he didn't know I knew and he came to me with this hilarious offer. Why his supposed virginity was supposed to appeal to me is still beyond me to this day.

7 "I work in α bank and my business cards bear my brothers' names and phone numbers because it is the rule of d bank"

You don't get that right? I don't either. And I doubt my friend who was told this ludicrous tale doesn't get it too. The guy who spun this funny lie went ahead to explain himself, "our numbers mustn't be on d card, it must be that of a family member and the other name you saw on the card is my 2nd name. The numbers are for my brother though".

Then he later said that he had the numbers but never took them out, anoda rule of the bank! Please do not ask me to explain this one further, friends. It's beyond me. One thing it brings to my mind is this question, is the guy sure he works for a bank or for the FBI? Or maybe the CIA!

Guys before you skin me alive, I'm sure girls have told you very ridiculous lies too. You can share them too o. In fact a friend of mine is already gathering the most ridiculous lies girls have ever told him and his friends.

LIFE STYLE : EIGHT LIES OF A MOTHER

This story begins when I was a
child: I was born poor. Often we
hadn't enough to eat. Whenever
we had some food, Mother often
gave me her portion of rice.
While she was transferring her
rice into my bowl, she would say
"Eat this rice, son! I'm not
hungry."
This was Mother's First Lie.

As I grew, Mother gave up her
spare time to fish in a river near
our house; she hoped that from
the fish she caught, she could
give me a little bit more
nutritious food for my growth.
Once she had caught just two
fish, she would make fish soup.
While I was eating the soup,
mother would sit beside me and
eat what was still left on the
bone of the fish I had eaten, My
heart was touched when I saw
it.
Once I gave the other fish to her
on my chopstick but she
immediately refused it and said,
"Eat this fish, son! I don't really
like fish."
This was Mother's Second Lie.

Then, in order to fund my
education, Mother went to a
Match Factory to bring home
some used match boxes, which
she filled with fresh
match sticks.
This helped her get some money
to cover our needs. One wintry
night I awoke to find Mother
filling the match boxes. by
candle light. So I said,"Mother,
go
to sleep; it's late: you can
continue working tomorrow
morning." Mother smiled and
said "Go to sleep, son! I'm not
tired."
This was Mother's Third Lie.

When I had to sit my Final
Examination, Mother
accompanied me. After dawn,
Mother waited for me for hours
in the heat of the sun. When the
bell rang, I ran to meet her..
Mother embraced me and
poured me a glass of tea that
she had prepared in a thermos. The
tea was not as strong as my
Mother's love, Seeing Mother
covered with perspiration, I
once gave her my glass and
asked her to drink too. Mother
said "Drink, son! I'm not thirsty!".
This was Mother's Fourth Lie.

After Father's death, Mother had
to play the role of a single
parent. She held on to her former job;
she had to fund our needs alone.
Our family's life was more
complicated. We suffered from
starvation. Seeing our family's
condition worsening, my kind
Uncle who lived near my house
came to help us solve our
problems big and small. Our
other neighbours saw that we
were poverty stricken so they
often advised my mother to
marry again. But Mother refused
to remarry saying "I don't need
love."
This was Mother's Fifth Lie.

After I had finished my studies
and gotten a job, it was time for
my old Mother to retire but she
carried on going to the market
every morning just to sell a few
vegetables. I kept sending her
money but she was stead fast
and even sent the money back
to me. She said, "I have enough money."
That was Mother's Sixth Lie.

I continued my part-time studies
for my Master's Degree. Funded
by the American Corporation for
which I worked, I succeeded in
my studies. With a big jump in
my salary, I decided to bring
Mother to enjoy life in America
but Mother didn't want to
bother her son; she said to me"I'm not
used to high living."
That was Mother's Seventh Lie.

In her dotage, Mother was
attacked by cancer and had to
be hospitalized. Now living far
across the ocean, I went home
to visit Mother who was bed ridden
after an operation. Mother tried
to smile but I was heart broken
because she was so thin and
feeble but Mother said,"Don't
cry, son! I'm not in pain."
That was Mother's Eighth Lie.

Telling me this, her eighth lie,
she died.
YES, MOTHER WAS AN ANGEL!

GIST : Fans Condemn P-Square's Childish Behaviour

Fans and friends of the sensational artistes, Peter and Paul Okoye otherwise known as P-Square have totally condemn the immaturity manner in which the twin brothers are going about their issue with May D.



If you recall that Square Records released a statement last month stating that MayD had been dropped off their label with MayD claiming not to know what they're on about. The world's Ugliest Woman sure is not such a good
title. But there's a lesson to be learned from every
story if you ask me. One of my favourite quotes
ever is ''when life throws lemons at you, make
lemonades''..... This is her Story :
When she was in high school, Lizzie Velasquez was
dubbed "The World's Ugliest Woman" in an 8-
second-long YouTube video. Born with a medical
condition so rare that just two other people in the
world are thought to have it, Velasquez has no
adipose tissue and cannot create muscle, store
energy, or gain weight. She has zero percent body
fat and weighs just 60 pounds.
In the comments on YouTube, viewers called her
"it" and "monster" and encouraged her to kill
herself. Instead, Velasquez set four goals: To
become a motivational speaker, to publish a book,
to graduate college, and to build a family and a
career for herself.

Now 23 years old, she's been a motivational
speaker for seven years and has given more than
200 workshops on embracing uniqueness, dealing
with bullies, and overcoming obstacles. She's a
senior majoring in Communications at Texas State
University in San Marcos, where she lives with her
best friend. Her first book, "Lizzie Beautiful," came
out in 2010 and her second, "Be Beautiful, Be You,"
was published earlier this month.
"The stares are what I'm really dealing with in
public right now," she told Dr. Drew Pinsky in an
interview on CNN's Headline News this week. "But I
think I'm getting to the point where… instead of
sitting by and watching people judge me, I'm
starting to want to go up to these people and
introduce myself or give them my card and say, 'Hi,
I'm Lizzie. Maybe you should stop staring and start
learning'."
Velasquez was born in San Antonio, Texas; she was
four weeks premature and weighed just 2 pounds,
10 ounces. "They told us they had no idea how she
could have survived," her mother, Rita, 45, told the
Daily Mail. "We had to buy doll's clothes from the
toy store because baby clothes were too big."
Doctors warned Rita and her husband, Lupe, that
their oldest child would never be able to walk or
talk, let alone live a normal life. (Her two younger
siblings were not affected by the syndrome.)

Instead, she has thrived. Her internal organs, brain,
and bones developed normally, though her body is
tiny. Since she has no fatty tissue in which to store
nutrients, she has to eat every 15 to 20 minutes to
have enough energy to get through the day. One
brown eye started clouding over when she was 4
years old, and now she's blind in that eye and has
only limited sight in the other.
"Some days life doesn't make sense," she writes in
"Be Beautiful, Be You." "You just have to change
what you can, ask for help and pray about the rest."
She notes her triumphs and posts inspirational
messages on Tumblr, and says that she's learned
to embrace the things that make her unique.
Instead of trying to retaliate against people who
have made her feel badly, she sets goals for herself
and pushes herself to succeed in spite of the
haters. She's even reclaimed YouTube, video
blogging about everything from bullying to hair-
styling tips to staying positive.
"I feel really glad that I don't look like the
celebrities out there that are so beautiful," she told
Dr. Drew. "There's a lot of stereotypes attached to
that." Not looking like a supermodel "gives people
the opportunity to know you personally," she
explains. "If they're willing to take that extra step
they'll get to know the person you really are."
Of course, the horrible comments left on that old
YouTube video stung (the video has since been
removed, but Velasquez says she read every single
comment). Now, she says, she understands that
they're "just words."
"I'm human, and of course these things are going
to hurt," she said. "Their judgements of me isn't
who I am, and I'm not going to let these things
define me."
"I didn't sink down to their level," she said in a
follow-up video on YouTube last year. "Instead, I got
my revenge through my accomplishments and
determination. In the battle between the 'World's
Ugliest Woman' video vs. me, I think I won."

P-Square is set to perform at the fourth annual Lion Lager Summer Festival on 13 October in Harare, Zimbabwe.

At a press conference in Harare on September 11, it was confirmed that the duo had signed the contract. They will be joined by Zimbabwean artists Roki, Winky D and Amara Brown, among others.

P-Square was first scheduled to perform in Zimbabwe on 31 August but the show was later cancelled.

Los Angeles - Kris Jenner has warned Kanye West to stop talking about Kim Kardashian's sex tape.

The musician recently rapped about the intimate video his girlfriend made with her ex Ray J in 2003 but after TMZ claimed he used to watch it to get himself in the mood while having sex with his previous lovers, her mother Kris told him off.

A source told RadarOnline: "Kris had stern words with Kanye when she saw that he said he would put Kim's sex tape on while romping with other women.

"She thinks it's a disrespectful claim and told Kanye to stop talking about it at every given opportunity."

'Caught in the middle'

The source added: "As far as Kris is concerned, the video with Ray J is history and since then Kim has become a reality TV star, a fashion designer, even a philanthropist - so she's moved on.

"By bringing up the past, Kanye is making it worse for Kim, but he doesn't see it as that much of a big deal."

However, the feud is getting to Kim as she is stuck in the middle of her mother - who is also her manager - and her boyfriend.

The source added: "Kim is, however, caught in the middle. She wants her mom and Kanye to get along because she wants Kris to approve their marriage. She won't if Kanye keeps doing things like this.

One year old Taiwo Lawal (pictured above) was one of those shot by armed robbers during the GTBank robbery that took place on Sunday September 9th in Gbagada, Lagos. Taiwo, a twin, was hit in the head by a stray bullet as the robbers exchanged gun fire with police. He was playing in his father's compound when he was hit.

GIST : Lady Went To See Slain Robber, Turned Out To Be Her lover

How am I supposed to believe that the lady in question do not know the occupation of his lover?According to the report,He left his girlfriend to rob neighbors but could not make it back home, as irate youths mobbed him to death before police could have him rescued.

His girlfriend, who was seen at the scene crying uncontrollably, said he left the house yesterday morning unknowing to her that he was into robbery in the neighborhood.

Residents had thronged the scene to catch a glimpse of the robber, and the lady too wanted to catch a glimpse. But on reaching there, she found out that the young man was her lover.

She broke into tear on sighting the mutilated corpse and when she was asked why she was wailing over a suspected 'armed robber', she said "he was my boyfriend".

It was learnt that the armed robber and another member of his gang operating on motorcycle had robbed an unsuspecting neighbor near Enerhen junction of money meant to pay his workers.

They were fleeing with the unspecified sum when neighbors started shouting "thief, thief", prompting a hot chase during which the girl's lover was caught at the Okoro Street, but not after he had shot four persons in a desperate bid to escape.

The other suspect, however, ran faster and was able to escape the mob.
The lover boy, according to source, in a bid to escape was shooting sporadically into the air to scare his pursuers.

The fired shots however hit four persons who were later hospitalized.

A source said; "But his trailers were undeterred in spite of the fact that four persons were hit by the stray bullet fired by the desperate robber".

"Apparently, the determination of residents of the area who were bent on catching the robber dead or alive paid off when he (the armed bandit) attempted to shoot a man putting on boxers and singlet".

This should serve as a lesson to ladies who are always after pursuing money from men.It is not a crime to date a big boy,but it is wiser to know what he does for a living.
