Unknown gunmen stormed an off-campus student hostel of the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, Adamawa State and shot dead at least 25 students. Some newspapers say the number is as high as 40.
The school has been shut indefinitely and the Adamawa State government has also imposed a 24-hour curfew. No group has claimed responsibility for the massacre...
