Keep these tips on the back burner next time you get snap-happy.
#Snuggle Up
Pressing your body into your guy (think: tilting your pelvis up against his side) will create a flattering ¾ angle toward the camera. Not only will this make the
two of you look super-cozy, it visually slims you out. Work Your Bod Arch your back a little and shift your weight to one hip-it looks subtly sexy. Also, keep the mantra, "head
down, eyes up" in mind. It's the prettiest angle for faces.
#Follow The Shoulder Rule
Always remember to keep your shoulder that's facing the camera relaxed. When it tenses, your shoulder and bicep look bigger, and that's not flattering.
#Watch Your Arms
Anything that's closer to the camera will look bigger, so wrapping your arms around your guy's shoulders will make your arms appear larger than life. Try to hug him in a way that keeps your arms loose and close to your body. Slinging an arm across the part of his waist that's closest to you, wrapping your arms around his neck (since it's smaller, it keeps your arms loose), or hooking your thumb in his belt buckle loop will do the trick.
#Avoid The Smush
It looks cute when your faces are close together, but be gentle with how you do it (pressing them together can make you look puffy). For the best shot, tilt your head towards him and turn your eyes toward the camera.
#Do a Hand-Check
If he wraps his arms around you, make sure he keeps them casually slung around your shoulders or resting lower on your body-wrapping them around your chest will hide your bod and make it look like he's crushing you.
#Don't Be Afraid To Guide Him
Guys have no freaking clue what looks good in photos (and, for the most part, they don't care), so gently coach your guy into the position that looks best for both of you. You can lightly move his hand, grab his butt to angle his body, etc. Not only will you end up with a great pic, it'll warm him up for some one-on- one action later.
