Tiwa Savage’s Manager Finally Speaks On Their Rumoured Wedding
Though industry insiders maintain both individuals got married a few weeks back after a long romance, Balogun claims this is not true.
According to him: "The story is not true, these bloggers just publish what they like without doing their findings."
When pressed further, the soft-spoken manager, insisted that it wasn't true.
"I am right now in Benin having an album listening party of my other artiste, D'Prince. I have heard all the rumours, whenever I hear them I just laugh to myself. Who was there? Was the person at the wedding?" he asked rhetorically.
Tiwa Savage was not available for comments but we understand she is currently in the studio in Lagos. She had before now described the romance stories as mere rumours.
Obviously the stunning and talented artist is still available in the spinster market. Read More

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, said that Abiodun was arrested on 1 January while attempting to board an Air France flight to Italy at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
"We have made the first arrest in the new year. The suspect, a guitarist by name Fatoke Abiodun was found with 1.575kg of cocaine. The drug was discovered in the false bottom of his luggage during the outward screening of passengers to Italy," said ,NDLEA Commander the Lagos Airport, Mr Hamza Umar
The agency said the 62-year old grandfather with four wives and many children, is helping narcotic investigators handling the case.
"Fatoke has owned up to the alleged crime blaming his involvement on financial hardship," said the agency's spokesperson, Mitchell Ofoyeju.
NDLEA quoted Fatoke as saying: "I played for King Sunny Ade for 30 years before I was unceremoniously retired in 2007. I was unprepared and without severance money I saw the bitter side of life."
He said his drug trafficking attempt is his first as he did it out of frustration.
"Because at my age I could not provide for my family. I am ashamed of myself," he was quoted as saying.
NDLEA Chairman, Ahmadu Giade described the involvement of Fatoke in drug trafficking as sad and disappointing.
"It is sad and disappointing for a grandfather to be involved in drug trafficking. This is a bad legacy to his children.
This is a good start for the agency in the year and a sign that the days ahead will be tough for drug traffickers. The agency will continue to handle every case in accordance with the NDLEA Act," Giade was quoted as saying.
The suspect will be charged to court for unlawful exportation and possession of narcotics, NDLEA said. Read More

Iyanya Denies Being Wanted By The Police
Reigning Afro hip hop act, Iyanya is allegedly wanted by the Nigerian Police, in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, in connection with the case of fraud brought against him by popular show organiser, Opa Williams.
Already, Iyanya's manager, Ubi-Franklin Ekpong is said to be currently under arrest at Mile 3 Police Division,in the Garden city.
Opa Williams, the producer of Nigeria's foremost comedy show, 'Nite of a Thousand Laughs' reported Iyanya to the police for allegedly collecting N1.7 million from him being payment for the singer's performance at 'Nite of a Thousand Laughs' shows which held in Benin and Port Harcourt few days ago. Unfortunately, the Kukere crooner never showed up at any of the shows.
According to our sources, what infuriated Williams was the fact that Iyanya actually arrived Port Harcourt ahead of the show on that fateful day(Monday)only for him to disappear minutes later with his cell phones permanently switched off.
"He has caused me a lot of embarrassment, as people who paid to come and watch him went home disappointed. For 17 years, we have been organizing Nite of A Thousand Laughs and we have built a large followership, I will not allow anybody to destroy the credibility we have as people who deliver on their promises. That' why we are going to pursue this case (legally) to a logical conclusion and ensure this is the last time Iyanya would do this to anybody." Williams stated.
Adding, he said ,"When Iyanya failed to show up at Benin edition, which held on December 26, he called to apologise, promising however to make it up with the Port-Harcourt and Bonny shows. But again, he did not keep to his word."
Showtime gathered that Iyanya shunned Opa Williams' event, but performed earlier at another show which held the same day in Port-Harcourt and featured Timaya.
Confirming the buzz, Williams' media Company, Media Image Managers, said, "We are aware of the issue between Opa Williams and hip hop act, Iyanya. The parties are at the moment at Mile 3 Police Division in Port Harcourt. Our client has informed us he is seeking redress in court. However, there are moves to resolve the matter amicably. It is sad that Iyanya would behave in such an unprofessional manner, but then, the police are handling the matter well."

yanya, Manager In Police Trouble Over Opa Williams’ Show

According to sources Iyanya was paid the said amount to perform at two 'Nite of a Thousand Laughs' events which held in Benin and Port Harcourt. The 'Kukere' singer missed both shows.
The latter which was held on New Year's Day featured a performance from rapper Olamide and was hosted by Bovi. Guests had waited for the singer to step on stage and thrill as the highly publicized show had promised a performance from him. Iyanya never showed up.
Interestingly, Iyanya is believed to have traveled on the same flight (allegedly paid for by the show organizers) with Olamide and Bovi.
Sources told us the singer shunned Opa Williams' event, performing instead, at another show in Omuma local government area, also in Port Harcourt which also featured Timaya.
'We were all disappointed, we waited in vain. As soon as Bovi announced he was not going to show up, everybody started leaving', a guest who attended the event held at the open ground of the Hotel Preseidential, PH said.
Just this morning, sources say Policemen from the Nigerian Police at the Mile 3 division invited Iyanya and his manger Ubi-Franklin Ekapong to the Police station over the matter which was reported by the show organizers led by Opa Williams.
The officers could only get Ubi-Franklin to station. 'Yes I was at the Police Station this morning, we have decided to return all money paid to us, it's not a problem', Ubi-Franklin told our reporters in a telephone conversation.
Ubi went on to explain what the whole brouhaha was all about:
We were paid to attend and perform at the Benin and Port Harcourt shows but we missed both due to reasons beyond our control. We missed the Benin gig because we were in Ghana as at that time and we arrived pretty late for the PH gig. We however had issues with initial payment from the show organizers also.
Read MoreWhy D’banj and Genevieve Nnaji broke up
Some of you think the relationship between D'banj and Genevieve Nnaji was a publicity stunt…it wasn't! The sexy stars dated off and on between 2009 and early 2012. D'banj recently opened up to Toolz on the Juice about his relationship with Ms Nnaji and said he doesn't know who dumped who
"Genevieve was a friend…(but now) I haven't seen her…I don't know who dumped who.
I can tell you for free that Genevieve did the dumping. Not necessarily because she wanted to, but because she had no choice. There were just too many women around D'banj. It seemed at a point, a lot of women wanted a piece of the Kokomaster, including a close friend of the actress who allegedly began an affair with D'banj behind her back. Genny decided she'd had enough and ended things in late 2011.
Genevieve and D'banj briefly reconciled in early 2012, but ended things for good after D'banj started flaunting his relationship with Ghanian actress, Nadia Buari.
The relationship which began in late 2009 after the two met at the airport, became public after D'banj granted an exclusive Interview to Stella Dimoko Korkus in March 2010, expressing his feelings for Miss Nnaji.
D'banj said:
"We have been trying to keep this quiet but yes, I am dating Genevieve Nnaji. I am in love with her. It's been long I felt this way about anyone. I don't know what other words to use to qualify my feelings. She's my baby, she's my every thing and I love her."
People in the know claim that it wasn't only the other women in D'banj's life that ended their relationship but also because Genny herself was not committed to the relationship. D'banj was said to have been hurt after he heard that Genny had also allegedly dated another popular Nigerian singer. Read More
PHOTO : Lil Wayne Reveals New Forehead Tattoo As ‘Baked’
The new tattoo is easy to see when looking at the rapper's face and fans might be perplexed at the meaning. A first assumption could be a drug reference, but Lil Wayne got the tattoo to signify his appreciation of skating company Baker Skateboards. Oddly the name of the company isn't the tattoo and it can be a bit confusing for those folks trying to appreciate the new ink. The rapper is also a serious skateboarder and wanted to show his appreciation to the sport in a very unique way.
While some might think it is a bit overboard to get a tattoo of a hobby, apparently Lil Wayne has gotten more serious about skateboarding than his love of lyrics. Appreciating the chance to be part of the culture, the rapper is focusing on the sport of skateboarding more than the music. Expect all that to change in 2013 when a new single comes out in February, but for now the fans can gaze at the new tattoo to understand Lil Wayne's commitment to skateboarding. Read More
P-Square Block May D From Performing In Calabar
MayD was billed to perform alongside Psquare and Akon at the Calabar festival. His name was on the list. And true to their words, MayD arrived at Calabar airport on the same flight with Psquare.
We smelt trouble when he looked alone and didn't walk with them. They rode in separate cars and he was lodged in a separate hotel from them.
So, the show started and we saw J martins had replaced May D and people were asking questions about his whereabouts.
When we sought to find out why Mayd would come all the way to Calabar and not perform, our first source said "He wasnt paid his balance and decided to pull out".
So, one of Akon's people asked where MayD was and was told the same thing"In his words, that's not good mennn..sometimes, it really isn't about the money you know. Akon loves that dude mennnn"
However, another reliable source said that "When Mayd was put on the list of performing artistes, the organizers didnt know he wasn`t with Square records anymore. So, Psquare on getting to Calabar, intimated the organizers on the latest development and so they had to drop him at the last minute.
When Akon and Psquare performed "chop my money",MayD's part had been yanked off…. Read More

Kim Kardashian will give birth to Kanye West’s baby while still married to Kris Humphries
And now, according to sources, the next trial for the divorce will be set for mid-June, to fit in with Nets player Kris' basketball commitments. Kris has argued for an annullment rather than a divorce, arguing that he and Kim married under false pretenses.
The source said: 'Kris isn't trying to drag this out, but he wants to be vindicated in court. Kris will see this through to the end.'
'But Kim is refusing to cave to any of Kris' demands. She has moved on with her life, and she won't agree to an annulment on grounds that the marriage was fraudulent because it would cause catastrophic damage to her brand".
Kim Spoke to E! on hoe she feels at the moment:
Kim said: 'I take lots of naps. Actually I feel really good. This New Year is just about being happy and healthy and that's what I plan on doing.
'I wouldn't say that pregnancy has been easy but there's been no morning sickness. When people say pregnancy is fun and they love it, I would disagree. I think from this stage on it does become easier and funner but it's just adjusting.'
She added: 'Even my sister has made it look so easy and it's not as easy as people think. It's a little painful, there's a lot of growing pains.
'But I've heard it's all worth it so I'm looking forward to that.'
And as for any weird cravings, The Keeping Up With the Kardashian's star said she is longing for seafood – though she knows it's not encouraged for pregnant women.
She said: 'I'm craving sushi, but I know I can't really have it, so I'm eating a lot of carrots and celery with lots of ranch.' Read More

Akindele will act as brand ambassador for the IT company.
We could not immediately confirm how much she was paid, but those familiar with the deal say it's 'a couple of millions'.

D’Banj Gives Up On Koko Lounge… Re-brands as Amalga-Nation
Our source revealed that one of the owners of Koko Lounge is based abroad and is not usually around to manage and do his duties for the business but instead is only interested in the profit available anytime he's present in the country which didn't go down well with the other owners as profit depreciated with time.
"Dilution of the Mo'Hits Crew" was part of the agreement as at the time when the bar was launched. The bar takes responsibility of supplying the defunct Mo'Hits crew drinks. This also affect profit maximazation.
